RESEARCH PROFILE
Molecular virology researcher with research experience in HIV-1 pathogenesis, virus-host non-coding RNA interactions, and antiviral strategies. Research focuses on understanding how HIV-1 infection modulates host cellular pathways, particularly through dysregulation of miRNA networks, oxidative stress responses, and mitochondrial dysfunction. Demonstrated ability to employ multiple approaches including cell-based infection models, molecular assays, and functional studies to dissect mechanisms of viral pathogenesis and evaluate therapeutic interventions. Seeking postdoctoral opportunities to advance mechanistic understanding of virus-host interactions and contribute to development of novel antiviral strategies.
